Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO)

The issue of increasing lobbyism in the EU. Considering the growing social injustice and established power structures, how can the EU control lobbyism in a more effective way and ensure a democratic balance of interests for the sake of the public good?



Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL)

The issue of a more social and fair EU. How can the EU implement the decisions made by the social summit in Göteborg on 17th November 2017, especially those principles with concern for young Europeans?



Committee on Foreign Affairs - subcommittee on Security and Defence (AFET/SEDE)


The issue of relations between the EU and Russia. In the light of the ongoing Ukraine conflict, how should the EU position itself towards Russia? Which political consequences need to be taken into consideration and how can the EU avoid jeopardizing its position in other global conflicts?


Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI)


The issue of rising natural disasters due to climate change. How can the EU establish a European disaster management to prevent and counteract natural catastrophes like forest fires, avalanches and floodings?


Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE)


The question of dealing with CRISPR/Cas9. Facing the latest advances in the field of genetic engineering, how should the EU position itself towards the use of CRISPR/Cas-9 in regard to agricultural and medical possibilities? What measures need to be taken in order to take full advantage of its medical and agricultural benefits, simultaneously avoiding humanitarian harm and uncontrollable risks?
