The issue of relations between the EU and Russia. In the light of the ongoing Ukraine conflict, how should the EU position itself towards Russia? Which political consequences need to be taken into consideration and how can the EU avoid jeopardizing its position in other global conflicts?

The issue of rising natural disasters due to climate change. How can the EU establish a European disaster management to prevent and counteract natural catastrophes like forest fires, avalanches and floodings?

Facing the latest advances in the field of genetic engineering, how should the EU position itself towards the use of CRISPR/Cas-9 in regard to agricultural and medical possibilities? What measures need to be taken in order to take full advantage of its medical and agricultural benefits, simultaneously avoiding humanitarian harm and uncontrollable risks?
